Description:
The Algoma District has one of the highest concentrations of Black Bears in Ontario. We bait well in advance of the hunt to ensure a high success rate. When the successful hunter is done processing his or her bear, we have freezers to store the meat until the trip home. To ensure a healthy population of Black Bears, only a limited number of hunters are taken each week. |
