Our Black Bear hunting packages includes bear validation tag for each person in your party. All bear hunts will operate out of Kanipahow Resort. We can tailor a moose hunt to suit your wants and needs. Drive-in camps are available for residents with their own tags and for non-residents. We hunt WMU 38, 31, 35 and 32. Included: * Rifle hunt only - one Bull Tag. * Archery hunt - one Bull Tag * fully equipped cabin * Two boats * firewood * one party per lake * It's a non-guided Moose hunt. Guiding is extra. Grouse Hunting There is nothing more relaxing than walking down a remote wilderness trail on a cool fall day, looking at the beautiful fall colors while keeping an eye open for Ruffed Grouse. Kanipahow Resort is located on the Chapleau River, which is surrounded by an abundance of old logging roads and ATV trails. Northern Ontario gives you the opportunity to experienced some of the world's best grouse hunting. There is also some great fishing to be experienced, which makes for a fun-filled vacation.
