Black Bear Hunting: We are well known for having one of the best Black Bear Hunts in Ontario. Our BMA is over 750 square miles of prime Black Bear habitat. As a result, our guests enjoy an exceptionally high success rate. We have 100 baits set up in all different types of terrain so even people who are physically challenged can enjoy our great hunting. Our Black Bear hunting package is full service American Plan so all you do is relax, hunt bear and have fun. Moose Hunting: We have great Moose hunting. Our Moose hunting packages all include an adult Bull Moose tag with calf tags for the other members of your party. We have six different Moose hunting packages to cater to your needs. Our Moose hunting guests enjoy a very high success rate for both bow hunting and rifle hunting. Our Moose Hunt takes place in WMU 31 and WMU 30.

From mid May to mid October, our guests enjoy some of the finest fishing and hunting Northern Ontario can offer. A wide variety of fish are available in these waters...Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Whitefish and Perch. There is abundant game in our surrounding forest...Bear, Moose, Ruffed Grouse and Ducks. We offer completely guided Moose Hunts, as well as Fall Bear Hunts. Our Grouse/Duck Package or Grouse/Fishing Package is a favorite of our many repeat guests.

Duck hunting is a very popular sport at our camp. The many nearby mashes, islands and weed beds make our area one of the best duck hunting areas in N. Ontario. We are only 5 minutes by boat from Cache Bay, which is a large wetland area and is on route for migratory birds. You will find mallards, blue bills, wood ducks, teals, red heads, ring necks and geese. All cottages are heated for your comfort. A Modified American Plan is also available with meal service in the dining room of our lodge. Our cedar strip boats camouflage well and are well suited for hunting. Game birds such as grouse are also nearby. We sell small game hunting licenses at camp.

We are located in some of the best bear country in Ontario. We are just north of the Village of Opasatika, with miles of roads and two tracks, throughout the 877 square kilometers, that we hunt. This is pristine bear country, with numerous, lakes rivers and streams. Our guests stay in a 4 bedroom house, on the inside edge of the Village of Opasatika. It is fully modern with all things that are needed to set up housekeeping. It has a large lot with lots of parking and room to shoot your bows. There is fishing close by in the Opasatika River, plus a few good Lakes. There will be a boat and motor to be used by those folks that get their bear in the early part of the week, or just want to do a little fishing, when not in the stand.

West Nipissing Resort, Lake Nipissing, Ontario duck hunting is world class. Lake Nipissing is on the migratory route for a number of duck species. Bear hunts run Saturday to Saturday, but by the time we set you up in a stand and get you familiarized with the area, it leaves you with a 6 day hunt. With more than 237 sq. k.m. exclusive to our camp, let us set up the baits to suit anyone's needs. Stands are accessible by side road, bush road, ATV trails and off the water. The elusive majestic moose wanders the woods and slues, rivers and lake areas that surround the camp. Located on the border of Wildlife Management Unit 28 & 40 has the natural boundary of the Montreal River. Ruffed Grouse, Partridge and Spruce Grouse flourish in the thousands of acres of crown forest that surround the camp. Miles of access roads and trails make for ideal fall bird hunting in the bush trails with nothing less than breath taking scenery.

Black Bear hunting here is an experience to remember. Still hunting or stalking, an encounter with a bear will get the adrenalin flowing. Our bear management areas have a good and thriving population. Stands are close to camp and easily accessible. Season opens Aug. 15 through Sept. 30 for firearms and archery. After the first day of hunting, hunters are responsible for their own transportation and for maintaining the bait, which is supplied. Our area has a varied background for moose hunting. There are clear cuts, swampy areas and many waterways where moose can be found. Our camp is located in the heart of Wildlife Management Units 40 and 29. The moose population in our area is very good for both adults and calves. We offer archery and firearms moose hunting packages. Grouse hunting in our area is excellent. There is a large number of Spruce, Ruffed and Sharp Tail grouse.

Hunting in our area feature a variety of game including deer, moose, partridge and duck. Old township roads have proven to be great when it comes to partridge hunting. Numerous marshy bays are prevalent in the area and make duck hunting easily accessible.

We are located right in the heart of thousands of hectares of crown forest (Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources Wildlife Management Units 40 and 41), adjacent to a Provincial Crown Game Preserve that spans over 55,000 hectares (215 square miles) of unspoiled wilderness. There is an opportunity either to hunt the many trails located around the camp or hunt Red Cedar Lake, which has 82.6 miles of shoreline and lots of quiet back trails that are rarely used. It's your choice! This area offers excellent hunting for moose, bear, small game, grouse or duck. There are different packages available to suit your needs - for one person or for large groups. We are in wildlife management area 41. The abundance of selective logging cuts, marshlands and old growth timber, allow us to have an extended moose season with the first 2 weeks designated for bow hunters only. We also offer grouse and small game hunting. Due to the extensive new growth, deer have adequate shelter and browse, which steadily increases our deer population. Opimika wilderness Camp and Cottages bear management area is over 500 sq km, allowing for both resident and non-resident hunters. Our bear hunting season allows for many a happy hunter. The two month season tells you of the abundance of the bear in our area. We provide our hunters with baited areas and access to tree stands and ground blinds, giving you the best possible options for the hunt. Rifle or bow, your preference.

The Gogama area has long been considered one of Ontario's best moose and bear hunting locations. Since Kenogaming Lake Lodge is the only lodge in the entire township, the wildlife remains abundant and undisturbed in its natural habitat. Small Game: We feel that the best small game hunting in Ontario is here in our own backyard. With hundreds of old logging roads, lakes, and rivers, the Shining Tree area contains ample opportunities for the avid hunter. Our varied forests and terrain provide an ideal habitat for ruffed grouse, spruce grouse and snowshoe hares. BEAR HUNTINGBlack Bear Hunting at Bay Wolf Camp Includes one week hunt, modern housekeeping accommodations, baited sites & orientation, tracking and recovery and all taxes. Storage of hides and meat in our walk-in freezer is provided at no charge. Our Bear Management Area consists of 80 square miles of wilderness, some areas rarely or never hunted. We begin baiting in early July and have about 70 active sites by the time the season opens. The black bear population in this area continues to thrive. We do not believe in over hunting an area, rotating hunting grounds by seasons, thereby ensuring healthy population. We have sites suitable for archery, rifle, shotgun and muzzle loading hunters. Shining Tree has a variety of game to satisfy the avid hunter. If it's big game you're after, we have fall Black Bear or Moose hunting. We are located on the border of Ontario Wildlife Management units 29 and 40. Unit 29 has an early archery season for moose, starting on mid September. We have our own Black Bear management unit of over 600 square kilometers. Let our guide put you on the trophy of a lifetime. If you're after small game, the Shining Tree area abounds in Grouse (Ruffled and Spruce), Snowshoe Rabbits and Timber Wolves, all of which can be taken on a small game license (seals must be purchased for wolves).

Combine fishing and hunting to make a great fall get away. Western Lake Nipissing offers access to thousands of acres of crown land. From Panorama Camp it is only a short drive or boat ride. The area offers an abundance of Grouse, Waterfowl and Deer opportunities. We are located in WMU 42 and within a very short drive to WMU 41. For waterfowl we are in the Central District again a very short drive to the Northern District. Cache Bay and Lake Nipissing are a major stop over for many ducks and geese. The area is prime habitat for Deer and Upland game birds. The fall fishing can be fantastic. The Bass, Pike and Muskie are fattening up for the long winter.

Whether you are hunting for Moose, Black Bear or Grouse, the forest surrounding Gowganda with it’s old logging and mining roads, which penetrate deep into the forest, offer a hunting experience like no other. Northern Ontario is known for it’s abundant wildlife. Our Black Bear guide who boasts over 20 years experience pre-baits our sites and will transport you to the most active stand. Our success rate consistently exceeds 88% for the kill and 100% for sighting. We offer 2 different bear packages to accommodate your needs. Auld Reekie will not exceed 20 bear hunts per year, hence the success rate. We offer Black Bear hunts in the fall, starting in mid August. Both rifle and bow hunters enjoy good success rates. Grouse season starts Sept. 15 and runs through November. Fall colors are spectacular as you walk the old trails in search of grouse. Moose season begins around the second week of October and is open for about five weeks. Our area offers good hunting with many access and logging roads to travel.
